Uvita de Osa, Costa Rica
Live-fire cooking made with love
Inspired by Argentinian-Italian traditions and the bounty of Costa Rica, we cook with a lot of flame and even more heart.
We partner with over 15 local farms, sourcing incredible herbs, fruits, vegetables, and cheeses.
Our fish is caught by local fishermen from sustainable waters.
Our meat is cooked over open flames, for flavor only fire can give.
Our pastas are made by hand daily, with Italian flour, organic eggs and a little patience.
People are talking about Seba's.
Tucked into the lush jungle of Uvita, our space is open to the trees, the breeze and the sounds of the evening.
Our Story
Seba’s is the work of Sebastian and Michelle Gallucci. After twelve years as acquaintances in Toronto, they reconnected, fell in love fast, married, had a baby, and moved to Costa Rica with big dreams.
They started with a jungle B&B and permaculture farm in Uvita, then Chef Seba’s love of the kitchen led them to open the first Seba’s restaurant in Bahía Ballena. Three years later, in August 2025, they found a new jungle-chic location that suits them perfectly.
Sebastian runs the kitchen and much of the business. Michelle brings the eye for detail. Together, they make a powerful team.
